Altera & Mr. Tiger have been prepping the nest for weeks, and appear to be favoring the same ledge, but different pot upon that ledge. The past several seasons' nest has been in the north pot of the three. This year, they have been actively visiting and digging in the south pot (on the other side of the famous Yucca.)

Visitation frequency increases leading up to egg-laying, and Altera nestles in for extended periods as a sign she is about to lay, and that's exactly what we're seeing happen. As soon as we have a long-term commitment from her (usually 12 hours or more) then we will likely take the stream LIVE for the first time at the new home of the OKCOwlCam on YouTube! If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe to the channel and click the notifications button (the one with the bell) so you can be notified when we go live!

Looking forward to a great Season 6!
